In Room 4 we have been doing artwork in our classroom. We did ruler rubbings which looked easy but it was not!
We went to the Art Gallery on Thursday and saw our Mihis.
We went to Kahurangi on Friday and we did dancing, rakau sticks and poi. I liked poi(Denise Mae) and I liked rakau sticks(Shylah).

Hello and we have some fantastic holiday stories to sharfe with you! We have used some really good adjectives!
Welcome back to Term 3! We have another busy term planned! Here we are as a whole class! A little bit different from the beginning of the year with our earthquake children coming and going! Carl and Bradyn have joined us and have settled into St Joseph's well and Room 4!

Rochelle from St Johns talked to us about first aid and the importance of only ringing 111 in a real emergency.

St Joseph's celebrated Multi-cultural day with children dressing in their national costume. Everyone looked great and we all enjoyed admiring the special cultural dress!

Room 8 helped us read cooperatively together! They were great role models and we really enjoyed working with them! Thank you Room 8!

Our whole school watched a special show reinforcing St Joseph's virtues and values!

Our school really enjoyed watching the "Mary Mac Killop" play. It was very interesting and the actors were funny!

Circle of Life

Here are some photos of our swan plants, eggs, caterpillars, chyrsallis and butterflies. This "Circle of Life" happened in our classroom and we were able to see the different stages! Lucy, Amelia and Molly were able to draw the most accurate life cycle!
